Jacko's Shoe

Here's a strange one - an eBayer selling a single red rhinestone shoe from Michael Jackson's 1985 'Family' tour, which comes with an official collectors picture-disc album, various newspaper clippings and magazines. But why only one shoe? Is the seller holding back the other to flog separately? Does Jacko wear his shoes like he does gloves (i.e. one at a time)? Or is there a more mundane peculiar explanation? We don't know, but at $10,000, we don't plan to find out.
