Take a View With Some Star Trek Binoculars

Will there be deep-space ornithologists in the future? I wouldn't have thought so - how many owls are there in Space after all? - but there must be, judging by the fact that you can buy a prop pair of binoculars from season six of Star Trek: Deep Space 9. Okay, so maybe they're not used for owl-spotting, but you never know.

Anyway, the binoculars are being sold by Jolie, a "starving writer/photographer/proofreader/editor/personal assistant" who's living in LA, employed full-time, but can't afford to buy food. Now call me naive, but that sounds like a job that's worth ditching at the first opportunity... Anyway, to help Jolie chow down on some healthy tuck, you'll need to bid at least $1,500.
