Grab a 15-grand Aibo

Oh my. When Sony decided to discontinue its range of Aibo robot dogs (i.e. have them put down), it created an instant collectables market. After all, with the Aibo production line having ceased, the little fellas' value will only go up and up. Check this limited-edition champagne-coloured Aibo ERS-7M3 for example, which is currently going for a whopping $15,099. Yes, it can do pretty much anything you'd want a robot dog to do (apart from eat cats, unless there's a firmware upgrade I haven't heard about), but that's a helluva lot of money for a robo-pooch.
