Save the animals by buying Nicollette Sheridan's bling ring

I wish I had an agent who'd give me a $10,000 platinum and diamond ring at my birthday party. Bah. This is what happened to Desperate Housewives star Nicollette Sheridan last year, at a private birthday celebration hosted by LA-based charity Best Friends, who run animal shelters.

Nicollette's agent Marcia Hurwitz gave her the ring, and the actress immediately passed it on to Best Friends to be auctioned off, because she hated it she's a deeply generous woman. So, it's a three-carat Neil Lane Diamond right-hand ring, and the starting price is $5,000.
