Tickets for the Men's Final Wimbledon 2009

Whith Andy Murray impressing at Queen's this weekend, interest and hype surrounding his performances at Wimbledon will be at a high. If you're confident that he'll reach the men's final, then you can bag tickets to the Men's Final Wimbledon 2009... but they won't come cheap.

Up for auction are one pair of Centre Court debenture tickets to the Wimbledon Open Tennis Singles Final which will be held on Sunday 5th July 2009. The pair of seats are located in Block 209 and you can gawp at the new roof too, so no fear of rain!

Tickets for the Champions League final on eBay

Everyone is a bit footballing mad at the minute and all desperately waiting to find out who will play Manchester United in the final of the Champions League. Will it be Chelsea? Will it be Barca?

For those who can't wait to buy tickets, there's some on sale on eBay (obviously, check out how credible they are and be prepared to sit almost anywhere in the ground) with 2 tickets going here and another couple going here.

With this week being St George's Day, I thought I'd give you something quintessentially English... and what's more English than Subbuteo?

Here we have a rare set of the footballing 'Home Nations', seemingly from the '60s, with all teams complete and boxes are near mint or mint condition. Teams are, of course, England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.

Squash racket, going cheap!

This may seem like a strange thing to put on Bayraider, but bear with me. You see, of late, I've decided that 2009 is when I'm going to get fit. Or fitter than I am now. It turns out that a mate of mine plays squash in the week... and invited me along.

I don't have the relevant kit, so I went straight to eBay, where I found this squash racket for a measly £10! Next, I'll be hunting for some trainers to go with it! And that is why eBay is so very brilliant!

Signed England World Cup Martin Johnson shirt

With the Six Nations in full swing, I thought it might be a good time to look for some Rugby Union bits. Of course, there's the full array of equipment and boots to buy, but then I spied something a bit special.

Up for grabs is a Nike England shirt, signed by English rugby legend, Martin Johnson. The shirt is mounted and framed and needs to find a home on the wall of a real rugger nut!

World cup final 2006 football

This is a little rare treat! You can bid on an official 2006 world cup match ball, which is not something to be sniffed at!

The ball is imprinted with Italy Vs France, one of only 1600 made. Each match in the 2006 world cup was personalized, and this one, of course, was personalised for the famous match that took place in Berlin (famed for the Zidane headbutt) on July 9th.

Genuine Olympic Silver medal

With the Olympics in full swing over in Beijing, I thought I'd have a look for some Olympic memorabilia. Sadly, there's not much in the way of Gold Medals, presumably they're too special to even sell.

However, there is this Silver Medal, as won by a member of the Cuban baseball team that came in second at Sydney 2000 Olympic Games.  Also included in the lot is the winner's diploma with the athlete's name.  Winner of the auction will receive both the medal and diploma. Be wanred though, this incredibly rare item is not going cheaply. Current bid stands at just shy of $8000.

Retro Russia football shirt

It's football mad at the minute, what with the European Championships taking place over in Switzerland and Austria. Of course, England aren't taking part, so heated debates abound as to who we should support. Most seem to be going for the big guns like Spain, France and Holland, but if you want to take a punt elsewhere, purely on the grounds that their old jerseys look great, then Russia should be your team of choice.

The old CCCP shirts are as iconic as they come, and you can get one that apes the classic commie top on eBay. All the shirts from this seller are brand new and 100% cotton.
